Pool installation

Compass ceramic pools can be installed in two ways, depending on the type of bottom: flat or inclined.

Sloped bottom pools are installed on the gravel bed, placed both under and around the pool. The subfloor of the pool is washed river gravel (round pebbles) 8-16 mm in size.

Pools with a flat bottom can be installed on the concrete base plate. Once settled, the sides are filled with moistened concrete.

You can see the construction process in the photos - it shows how the Smokey Quartz colored Java pool with sliding roof system is built.

3. Preparation of the pool subsoil

The bottom of the excavation is filled with a subsoil layer of washed round gravel, poured over a geotextile and compacted. It is also possible to prepare a concrete base plate, but the installation of the Compass ceramic pool does not require this, the gravel bed sufficiently settles the pool.

5. Technological installation and filling

Once the skimmer, inlet nozzles, lights, hoses and pipes are installed, the pool is gradually filled with dry concrete mix or gravel. At the same time, the pool is filled with water to balance the pressure exerted on the walls.

The space under the stairs is always filled with dry concrete.
